Dataset Table

The dataset table is the simplest form of table. It only displays the raw data information of the dataset without processing the data in any way.

Simple Example of Dataset Table

Taking the product sales order as an example, this section introduces the process of creating a dataset table.

  1. Click New Chart -> Dataset Table in the dashboard, select the data source and dataset, click OK, and a dataset table will be generated on the canvas.
  2. The newly generated dataset table contains all fields of the dataset. You can select the fields you want to display in the red box area, and uncheck the fields you don't want to display.
  3. Click the sort button to customize the display order of the fields.
  4. Set the table style, adjust the font color and width of the table header and cells, etc. For detailed settings, please refer to Style.
  5. Set table interactions, such as setting jump actions after clicking the table, to complete the table creation.

Dataset Table Configuration

Sorting

The dataset table supports sorting. Click on dataset sorting. On the sorting page, select the sorting field, field sorting type, and sorting order. Multiple fields can be used for sorting. The dataset table in the example is sorted in ascending order by the year field.

Fields

The fields section lists all the fields of the dataset. Users can select according to their needs. The checked fields will be displayed in the table, and the unchecked fields will not be displayed. The display order of the fields can also be adjusted.

Filter

The dataset table supports adding filters within the chart. Please refer to the Filter section in the chart documentation for settings.

Drill-Down Settings

The dataset table supports setting drill-down layers. Please refer to the Chart Drill-Down instructions for settings.

Dataset Table Style

The dataset table includes rich styling options, allowing you to set headers, table headers, cells, padding, and more. Please refer to the Styling guide for specific instructions.

Dataset Table Interaction Operations

Datasets can be configured with various interaction operations, such as pagination, click-to-pop, etc. It also supports interactions with other charts, such as linking to other charts, jumping, etc. Please refer to the documentation for guidance on interaction settings.

Note

Sorting the dataset table is required before pagination can be applied.
